You'll also find some examples of first dances, as well as an example of a full film so you can see exactly what to expect from my final products, particularly in terms of the audio quality typically recorded for the main sections of the day. Full Film Example
Olivia and Dean
I've chosen to put this one up as an example full film, not because it's "the best" but because it shows different ways the audio can be recorded on the day. For the ceremony, pocket recorders with a lapel microphone were used on the groom and the officiant, to capture their audio as well as the bride's. I typically will use these for the speeches as well, but here I used a direct recording from the venue's sound system as the audio choice for the speeches. For their first dance, I used an ambient recording of the audio from the evening as I felt this was the best choice - sometimes I will directly record a band's performance, other times I will use an mp3 version of the song used - it all just depends what I feel fits best for your day. I have since invested in high quality video lights that I typically use in the evening for both the first dance and dancing. These may also be used for the speeches depending on the time of year and available light at the venue.
